European companies with an above average share of women in top-management outperformed the Stoxx Europe 600 GR benchmark by 75% during the last five years.
While between December 2011 and December 2016 the benchmark advanced by 76% - that corresponds to an annual increase in value of 11,9% - the Investing in Women Europe portfolio increased by 151%. That corresponds to an annual increase in value of 20,2%.
In 2011 only 104 companies qualified for the European Investing in Women portfolio. As of end of 2016 this number has increased to 220 of those European companies with a MarketCap above 800 Mio. €.
